This project involved a full operating and maintenance manual for a line of packaging machinery, prepared for a manufacturer supplying equipment to a distributor based near the Team Valley trading estate. The source material included tables, warning labels and numbered part lists that had to line up exactly with the diagrams.

A commercial property lease was translated from French into English for a small retailer taking on new premises close to Grainger Street. Because the document set rent terms and repair obligations, clause numbering and cross-references were checked against the source twice before the final file was sent.

A family who had recently moved to Jesmond needed discharge summaries and prescription notes translated so a local GP could review prior treatment. Terminology was checked against standard clinical glossaries, and dosage figures were double-checked against the original units.

Six brochures promoting sites along the Quayside and nearby Hadrian's Wall were translated from English into Spanish and Italian for a regional tourism operator. The wording was adapted for readability rather than translated literally, keeping the tone light for visiting readers.

A prospective student applying to a Newcastle college needed a certified translation of degree transcripts and diplomas. The layout mirrored the original page by page, so admissions staff could compare both versions line by line without confusion.

An ongoing arrangement with a wholesaler based near the Ouseburn Valley covers weekly translation of email correspondence and purchase orders exchanged with a supplier in Japan. Batches of ten to fifteen short documents are usually turned around within the hour, fitting around the client's order deadlines.
