Standard Document Translation

General letters, internal memos and short business documents translated by one of our five in-house linguists. Suitable for material that does not require legal certification. Turnaround is usually two working days for texts under 1,500 words.

From £35 per document

Certified Translation

Official rendering of birth certificates, degree certificates and similar papers, signed and stamped for submission to UK institutions. Each certified page is checked twice before signing. Commonly requested by residents applying to local colleges or council offices.

From £45 per certified page

Legal Document Translation

Contracts, tenancy agreements and court correspondence handled with attention to clause structure and terminology consistency. We keep a glossary per client so repeat contracts use matching wording. Not a substitute for legal advice from a solicitor.

From £40 per page

Website Content Translation

Product pages, blog posts and metadata translated per word, with word counts confirmed before work starts so the final invoice matches the quote. Files are returned in the same format they arrive in, ready to paste into your content system.

£0.09 per word

Business Correspondence Package

A monthly allowance of emails, quotes and short letters translated as they come in, aimed at Newcastle upon Tyne firms trading with overseas suppliers. Requests are logged and answered within the hour during business days.

From £48 per month

Academic Document Translation

Transcripts, reference letters and personal statements prepared for university applications, formatted to match the layout expected by admissions offices. We flag any figures or grades that need the original attached alongside the translation.

From £52 per document

Marketing Copy Translation

Adverts, brochures and social media captions adapted for a British audience rather than translated word for word. Priced per word since length varies widely between a headline and a full leaflet. Draft and final version both included.

£0.11 per word

Proofreading of Translated Text

A second linguist reviews an existing translation for grammar, tone and consistency without redoing the work from scratch. Useful when a document was translated elsewhere and needs a check before it goes to print or to a client.

£6 per page

Short Consecutive Interpreting

An interpreter attends a meeting, appointment or small event in person or by video call and relays spoken content sentence by sentence. Booked by the hour, with a minimum of one hour and 48 hours' notice where possible.

£22 per hour

Rush Service Surcharge

Applied when a document under 1,000 words needs turning around within four working hours instead of the standard two working days. Added on top of the base service price, subject to a team member being free to start immediately.

£60 flat fee

Clear Terms Before You Book

  • Quotes are based on word count or page count confirmed in writing before work begins; the final invoice will not exceed that figure without your agreement.
  • Certified translations include one stamped hard copy; extra copies can be requested at the time of order.
  • Rush requests depend on team availability across our five translators and are confirmed by phone or email, not assumed automatically.
  • Payment is due on delivery for one-off jobs; the monthly correspondence package is invoiced at the end of each month.
  • We serve Newcastle upon Tyne and nine surrounding districts; documents can be sent digitally from anywhere in the UK.

Questions About Our Services

Standard documents are priced per page or per document, shown against each service above. Website and marketing content is priced per word because length varies so much between a single line and a full page. You always get the word or page count before confirming.

A certified translation carries a signed statement confirming it is an accurate rendering of the original, along with a stamp. It is typically requested for certificates, official records and similar paperwork submitted to institutions in the UK.

Yes. A common example is a certified translation followed by proofreading, or a legal document translation with a rush surcharge added when the deadline is tight. Each part is priced according to the list above and itemised on your invoice.

Requests sent during business hours are usually answered within one hour with a quote and an estimated turnaround. Messages received on Sunday, when the office is closed, are picked up first thing Monday morning.
